Time: 10am-12.30pm followed by lunch!
Location: 3 Millerfield Place, Edinburgh, EH9 1LW (just off the Meadows)

Neil Hudson the candidate will brief us with the plans for the morning at 10am and then we'll go out doing leaflet/questionnaire deliveries and so on. A tasty lunch will then be provided.

It'll be really helpful to get off to a good start. This is a critical time for the Conservatives in Scotland. Edinburgh South is a very winnable seat - in fact, the Conservatives are currently in the lead. Each of us can make a real difference to the outcome of the next election.

Please feel free to invite others - it'll be a fun and very worthwhile few hours.

SATURDAY 6th DECEMBER:

We will be going to Perth to help out EUCUAs own Peter Lyburn. It will be an early start as the farmers market will also be along and we will do a press call there at 9:45.

So a bus will leave edinburgh at 8:15.(it holds 16 people but obviously cars can be used as well). Soup, sandwiches and the odd beer will be provided.

The 29th of November is also the Conservative Future Scotland confernce in St Andrews. Lots of big names will be there for a busy day and dinner in the evening.

Welcome to the Edinburgh University Conservative and Unionist Association.

Established as one of the first university Conservative Associations in 1862, EUCUA boasts a distinguised alumni including Rt. Hon Sir Malcolm Rifkind KCMG (a former Chairman), the MPs Rt. Hon Michael Ancram & Charles Hendry and MSPs David McLetchie & Lord James Douglas-Hamilton.

We are a key player in Conservative Future Scotland (the 18-30 section of the part) and focus our energies on campaigning and a full social programme of speaker events. The highlights of this social calendar are our 130 seat Act of Union and Burns Night Supper, which have consistently had high-profile guests.

Last year we heard from Dr Liam Fox, Michael Ancram, John Purvis MEP, Charles Hendry MP and have had a number of MSPs to our Christmas dinner.

This year we are gearing up for the general election and will be focusing our efforts on seats in Edinburgh and helping our honoury vice-president Peter Lyburn who at just 24, has been selected to fight Perth and North Perthshire - David Cameron's 30th target seat.

It's going to be a great year...
